Hogmaster Hire from Hog Roast Ashbourne for a Boxing Day Birthday Party!

Our Hogmaster succeeded in bringing a bit of extra festive joy to the pork-loving Taylor family this Christmas when they hired it for their son’s Boxing Day birthday party! Apparently, birthday boy Darren had always been a bit miffed that he was born at Christmas time as he always felt that the rest of the celebrations stole his thunder, but all that changed when he found out his mum and dad had decided to push the boat out for him this year, with his very own hog roast party!

After all the hard work of preparing the Christmas meal, his mum Susan didn’t want to have to do it all over again the next day, so when they decided to throw him a party, they needed a low-maintenance and budget-friendly catering option that was still impressive enough to make their son feel special. They found everything they wanted and plenty more besides in our state of the art Hogmaster machine!

It caused quite a stir from the moment we delivered it, and after a quick tutorial, Hog Roast Ashbourne left the family  to get on with the birthday preparations. They found it so easy to use that mum Susan even entrusted the cooking to her husband Paul, who wasn’t exactly known for his wizardry in the kitchen, so she could just put her feet up and enjoy the party with the rest of the family!

Cooking for 30 people is daunting for the most experienced of home chefs, but Paul informed us that the Hogmaster made preparing the family feast feel almost effortless, not the mention how amazing the pork tasted when it came to serving time!

They were also impressed with how a piece of equipment that could feed everyone twice over and still have plenty of leftovers to last them to New Year, was also so compact and cleverly designed. They were delighted to discover that the lid transforms into a serving table after the cooking is completed, to save on space and make life a lot easier!

Darren loved his birthday treat, as did the rest of the family and thanks to the Hogmaster, for once he didn’t feel like his birthday played second fiddle to the family’s Christmas celebrations!
