Yes, it is the caterer’s favourite time of year: wedding season. It’s due to start in a little over a month’s time, but already here at Hog Roast Thorpe we are getting ourselves in the wedding season mood.
Just as we do every year, we want to hit the ground running as soon as the wedding season starts. As a caterer you wouldn’t want even one wedding to suffer even a slightly lesser service, only because it was earlier in the season. No, each wedding must be treated equally, so it is our duty as a caterer to get ourselves ready early.
Plus, putting us in the wedding season at the moment is the first announcements of wedding fairs around the country. Held by both partner venues of ours and wedding agencies which we are lucky to hold connections with, wedding fairs are excellent opportunities for both wedding goers and wedding vendors like Hog Roast Thorpe alike. On these wonderful events the Hog Roast Thorpe team gets to showcase our skills and services amongst many other incredible vendors. There’s usually live music, raffles, games, drinks and food too, meaning it is like an event all of its own too – one in which we get to soak in the atmosphere the same as any guest at any other regular event.
The Hog Roast Thorpe team have already been fortunate to receive a couple invites, and will be speaking to many more of our wonderful partner venues and agencies soon to hear all about their fair plans for the year. Even just the provisional talks for the year ahead are enough to get us giddy for the oncoming season. We just know it is somehow going to be the best one yet – and that is from a caterer that has enjoyed about thirty years of busy wedding seasons!
Either we’ll be seeing you at one of the wedding fairs in the year or, better yet, we’ll be seeing you at an actual wedding for a friend or family member – or, better yet again, your own! Until then, we’ll be readying ourselves fastidiously.
