The wedding season is one of our favourite times of the year; ask any caterer and they will tell you that a wedding is the best of any of their services. Hog Roast Solihull are little different. With weddings, we get to go the whole hog – so to speak – and produce some of the most extravagant meals and dining experiences in our service. It is the best of events, all on account of the incredible venues we get to visit, the extravagant menus we are able to devise, and the glitz, the glamour, and the delight of every single guest in attendance. For a caterer that loves pushing the bounds and creating unique and exciting dining, a wedding is right in our wheelhouse.
This past weekend, closing out May, the Hog Roast Solihull team were able to enjoy another such dining service at the brilliant venue at Newlands Bishop Farm. A truly unique venue to cater at, the wedding of Jess and Vaughan was well marked with brilliant weather, the perfect grounds to enjoy the weather in, 75 of their closest friends and family, and an extra special southern slow roast menu from head chef Martin and the Hog Roast Solihull team!
If ever you could have asked for a perfect combo for a wedding day, it was this. Perfect weather to go with a venue that allows you to make full use of the extraordinary Derbyshire grounds. The venue boasts a cooling tipi tent where guests could mingle, dance, and dine, or they could head out to the farm grounds and enjoy the fresh air and the brilliant sunshine. The Hog Roast Solihull team were set up just next to the tipi tent, so it was easy enough for guests to come on by and grab a delicious bite at any time.
And what a choice they had: Cajun spiced chicken thighs, 24 hour aged beef brisket, pulled quarter of minted lamb, grilled veg and halloumi skewers, BBQ pulled jackfruit, roast potatoes, sweet potato fries, tomato and mozzarella salad, seasonal leaves, seasonal greens, and plenty of gluten-free rolls and wraps.
