Towards the end of June the Hog Roast Stoke-on-Trent catered for such an incredibly fun event that we would be remiss not to tell you about.
Often when we cater for an event it is for a singular celebration. A birthday, an anniversary, a job promotion or some such occasion or achievement. Sometimes, as with this one, it is an event with multiple reasons to celebrate. Having bought a new home in Stoke-on-Trent and having a birthday close enough to the date too, our featured customer for June, Sarah, opted to combine the two for one massive celebration at here home. Both a house warming and a birthday party in one, it was already set to be an all-timer!
And then she invited the Hog Roast Stoke-on-Trent team, just to make the day all the more perfect. The only thing that could possibly be needed thereafter is some bright shining summer weather to match – and lo and behold, we did! With a new garden to make full use of, the site was set for this event to be just perfect for Sarah’s friends and family, of which 150 were to attend.
Now you might think that many could be cause for concern for the Hog Roast Stoke-on-Trent catering team, especially as 50 of them were a later addition to plans, but our catering has always joined both quality and quantity without one having to ever sacrifice for the other. A hog roast still cooks just as well whether it is for one or one hundred – the only difference is how big a portion each person gets, but with a singular hog roast alone you are always going to have more than enough to feed a hundred. Add in our sage and onion stuffing, crispy crackling, apple sauce, grilled veg and halloumi skewers, BBQ marinated pulled jackfruit, red cabbage slaw, and seasonal leafy greens, you hit that 150 guest list pretty easily, with more than enough for everyone to enjoy a healthy portion each!
We had a tonne of fun at the event beyond our foods, too. Guests were a delight, the house was magnificent, the surrounding grounds beautiful to cook in, and a few instruments set up in the corner of the garden made a wonderful atmosphere and celebration event better as the party went long into the evening!
