Anytime a customer comes to Hog Roast Alrewas to discuss their wedding catering we always tell them that there is no single answer to their dining. Customers tend to expect that there is a ‘right’ way to go about their wedding dining, but we like to remind them that it is their special day, so it is entirely theirs to do with as they like.
While of course many will choose the traditional options of a roast dinner – particularly when it comes to Hog Roast Alrewas as it is our speciality – we are always excited to come up with a menu for our customers that is a little more outside of the box. This week brought one such menu experience as the Hog Roast Alrewas team had the pleasure of catering for Yvonne and Rupert on their wedding day at Alrewas Methodist Church. The pair had held a wonderful ceremony at the church before then celebrating in style with over 100 of their closest friends and family. To ensure those celebrations went exactly as big and as stylish as they demanded to be, Hog Roast Alrewas were on hand with our gourmet barbecue range.
A barbecue is not unheard for a wedding of course, but where ours differs is in the approach and the quality of our foods. We don’t do things by half at Hog Roast Alrewas; with our gourmet range you have some of the best beefs and pork’s in all of Derbyshire lovingly crafted into gourmet burgers, sausages, and chicken kebabs to then throw down on our massive grill attachment to our mobile hog roasting machines. This means quality flavours in every serving along with a freshness that can keep the party going even long through the night.
Our gourmet range has unique picks beyond your classical barbecue menu, too. For Yvonne and Rupert, we had our signature hog roast on show to turn into excellent tender pulled pork to go with a roll or wrap. Our sides also come to the fore in this menu, with the wedding party enjoying buttered corn cobettes, fresh tomato and mozzarella salad, gourmet coleslaw, and a medley of regular and sweet potato fries.
