
The centrepiece of the menu was our whole roasted pig, cooked to absolute perfection with irresistible crispy crackling, accompanied by our signature sage and onion stuffing and tangy apple sauce. Guests could pair this with a choice of freshly baked bread rolls and wraps, including gluten-free options, ensuring no one was left out of the celebrations.
To balance out the richness of the hog roast, we served a selection of refreshing sides, including a crisp mixed salad and our ever-popular gourmet coleslaw. For vegetarian and vegan guests, we made sure they had something equally delicious: our grilled vegetable and halloumi skewers (served without halloumi for the vegans), wrapped up with vibrant dips like tzatziki and sweet chilli sauce.
All food was served onto eco-friendly wooden crockery with wooden cutlery, keeping everything stylish, sustainable, and perfectly suited to a relaxed outdoor wedding celebration. The buffet-style service gave guests the chance to mingle, chat, and fill their plates with whatever caught their eye, a casual dining experience that perfectly complemented the joyful atmosphere.
For us, the real highlight of the day was seeing friends and family come together, sharing laughter, raising toasts, and enjoying the food as part of such a heartfelt celebration. Being part of events like this is always a privilege, and we were thrilled to help make the wedding party at Pond Farm extra memorable.
