We’ve spent many years providing great quality home-cooked food and excellent quality service at a competitive price, catering all kinds of occasions, from informal to formal ones. The food itself is arguably the biggest thing, if not one of the biggest things that you have to deal with when planning a party or event, and it can sometimes be an extremely daunting task. That’s why it’s often a great idea to book a caterer to take the stress of the food off you, and that’s where we come in.
For a large crowd of people, a buffet service can often be the best and cheapest idea, and our hog roast Dronfield buffet means you can sit back and relax with your guests while we prepare and serve the food and then clean up after ourselves at the end of the night. How many times have you had a party at home and simply hated the sight of the dishes piled up after everyone’s left? This was a major concern for Aileen, who asked us to cater her husband Neil’s birthday party yesterday with a hog roast Dronfield.
After hosting parties at the large family home for many years, Aileen recently decided that now the family has grown so much, that it can be too much to deal with all of the cleaning up afterwards – especially the pesky washing-up. Having a dishwasher is all very well when you have a small family, but when there are nearly 30 guests in terms of children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, even just doing the dishes can prove stressful and hard work.
We planned the menu with Aileen and she decided that her husband would love to have hog roast Dronfield rolls for this special occasion. At this time of year, we also offer a winter warmer of meat and veg, but Aileen thought that pigs in buns with homemade stuffing and apple sauce would be the ideal food for Neil and the rest of the family.
After several hours of roasting in the back garden yesterday, the guests queued up for lots of lovely slices of pork, crackling and toppings all piled into bread rolls. With the chimineas going, the guests all wearing their fine winter coats and a plate each full of hot food, no one complained about the chilly weather.
