Hog Roast Hilton cater for a number of occasions and one of our specialties is catering for children’s parties. We deliver only high quality foods and have a particular menu to suit the children’s tastes. This spring, we were hired by Jillian, who was hosting a party for her son Dylan. As much as Dylan likes his cars and consoles, he’s also very much into his food, and we knew we could put on the perfect spread for Dylan and his friends.
Tobias the chef and Mandy the server were there to assist me on the job. We arrived at the venue at 8am to being setting up, the party started at 11am, which meant when we had finished setting up we would have plenty of time to spare before the children arrived. Jillian had requested a small hog roast, along with our popular fluffy potatoes, soft bread rolls and a selection of condiments; we began preparing it promptly.
We were set up in the back garden, and when Dylan came down to see how things were getting on, he was instantly overjoyed with the array of colours and smells that we had arranged. He was eager to dig into the hog roast Hilton before all his friends arrived. When his friends got there, Dylan wanted to have the food opened immediately so he could finally taste the hog that was smothering the air with its glorious smell. When the children began to eat, there was silence, everyone tucking in and scoffing the food in front of them, barely giving themselves time to breathe. Everyone was coming back for more, rejoicing over the succulent, juicy meat and warm, fluffy potatoes. Dylan couldn’t get enough, and he was so appreciative of our amazing work.
The party was ending and it was time for us to clean up and head off. Before we left Dylan and his mum wanted to thank us for the beautiful food that they had devoured. Jillian informed us that she would be happy to tell all her friends about the high-quality food and service Hog Roast Hilton provide and that she will definitely be hiring from us again, Dylan agreed.
