In preparation for the end of the school term, Hog Roast Buxton has been hired to cater for a great event taking place at a secondary in Derbyshire. The school is hosting an Easter fair to raise money for their chosen charity, with fundraisers including trying ‘dunk’ teachers, a bake sale, a raffle, and an auction with prizes donated by local businesses. Additionally, our catering manager Martin will be providing a Gourmet BBQ menu for the occasion, with this menu having something for every guest to enjoy. Our catering needs to be varied and nutritious, while also still attracting the students, and we know from experience that no one can resist a barbeque! Our food smells and looks delicious while it cooks, which is perfect for building up some appeal before lunchtime.
On the day of the event, our catering manager Martin and the Hog Roast Buxton team will arrive at the school in the morning and prepare our catering for lunchtime. We will begin by preparing the main dishes, which will include succulent pork sausages, veggie sausages, juicy British beef burgers, halloumi and vegetable skewers, marinated chicken kebabs, and BBQ spareribs. The dishes will be served in fresh bread rolls, with gluten-free rolls also on offer. Additionally, we will be serving homemade chips, sweet potato fries, corn cobettes, a selection of seasonal salad dishes, and gourmet coleslaw. Our catering is sure to go down a treat and this event and the Hog Roast Buxton team are looking forward to getting involved!
