This December, Hog Roast Stoke-On-Trent was hired to cater for Simon’s 40th birthday party, which was set to take place at Caverswall village hall. The event was being hosted to celebrate Simon, with 50 of his friends and family in attendance. As well as organising the guest list, Simon’s friend Jo also organised catering for the event. Our manager Martin was hired to provide a classic hog roast for the 50 guests to enjoy, with a meat-free dish on offer for vegetarians.
When the day of the party arrived, the Hog Roast Stoke-On-Trent team got to the village hall in the afternoon, giving us plenty of time to prepare for the 20:00 mealtime. To begin the preparation, we slow-roasted the hog, ensuring that it had over 5 hours to roast to perfection. Once ready, the meat was expertly carved and served in fresh bread rolls, alongside sage and onion stuffing, homemade applesauce, and crispy crackling. Gluten-free rolls were also available upon request. For meat-free guests, our team provided a delicious option of halloumi and vegetable skewers, which went down a treat! As well as the main dishes, we also served homemade chips and a selection of seasonal salad dishes. This created a varied and nutritious evening buffet and included plenty for the guests to enjoy. Our catering was a great addition to the evening and gave the guests the fuel they needed to keep partying into the evening!
