Children’s Birthday Party With Hog Roast Wirksworth!

Douglas and Pamela’s son, Shaun, celebrated his tenth birthday over the weekend, which called for a huge birthday party at his favourite place in the world – his football club! His entire football team, plus all of his friends from school, were invited to join in the fun, taking the total number of guests up to 40!

Hog Roast Wirksworth was hired to cater for this event, which took a great deal of stress off Douglas and Pamela’s shoulders. With lots of hungry kids to feed, the pair were eager for us to come up with a varied meal plan to keep them all interested.

Hog Roast WirksworthKnowing how selective children can be when it comes to food, our solution was to serve our Gourmet BBQ Menu, which Douglas and Pamela loved the sound of – and, more importantly, they knew the kids would too. Consisting of our chefs’ own gourmet sausages, succulent chicken kebabs, BBQ meaty marinated spareribs, handmade British beef burgers and vegan BBQ-pulled jackfruit buns, there’s something on this menu for everyone.

When the day of the party rolled around, Hog Roast Wirksworth arrived at the venue bright and early and had our equipment set up in no time. Our catering manager, Martin, then took charge of the grill while the rest of the team focused on preparing the salad, coleslaw and mixed fries.

Before we knew it, the hall began to fill up with guests whose interest in the food was instantly piqued by the aromatic fragrances that drifted from the grill. Excited to dig in, the kids formed a queue behind the birthday boy, and our team worked quickly to fill their plates with gorgeous food.

Everyone, including the parents, was really impressed by Hog Roast Wirksworth’s cooking, and as the party wound down, they thanked our caterers for providing such excellent service. Douglas and Pamela couldn’t have been happier with their decision to hire us and were immensely grateful to our caterers for making Shaun’s birthday so spectacular.

Finally, it was time for Hog Roast Wirksworth to pack up our equipment and head home, and we left the venue as clean as we found it.
