To prepare for an upcoming recruitment day, Hog Roast Dronfield was contacted by a local sales business based in Derbyshire. Our manager Martin was asked to prepare a tasty lunchtime meal for 60 guests, including a vegetarian and gluten-free option. After discussing our options, it was decided that our classic Hog Roast menu would be an ideal choice, since it is versatile, tasty, and packed full of nutrients!
On the day of the recruitment event, the Hog Roast Dronfield team arrived in advance to prepare the catering while the staff got on with the recruiting process! We began by roasting the hog, since it can take around 5 hours to roast an average sized hog to perfection. Once cooked, the meat was expertly sliced and served in fresh bread rolls, or a gluten-free alternative. For meat-free guests, we also provided BBQ pulled jackfruit, which is a great vegetarian alternative! Alongside the main dishes, the guests enjoyed sage and onion stuffing, homemade chips, tasty applesauce, crispy crackling, and seasonal salad.
