Hog Roast Bolsover recently had the pleasure of catering for an exciting business conference organised by area manager, Alfie, to celebrate the outstanding efforts made by team leaders, assistant managers, and managers at his company.
This full-day event was not just about celebrating achievements but also focused on strategic discussions and training workshops to upskill and strengthen the team. And, of course, a mouth-watering luncheon was served by none other than yours truly to lift everyone’s spirits!
From early morning, our team was in action, preparing our renowned Alfresco Menu to ensure a memorable feast for all attendees. This menu was designed to impress, starting with vibrant antipasti platters adorned with fine cheeses, deli meats, and artisanal breads—a feast for both the eyes and the taste buds. Guests couldn’t resist the temptation, diving into this appetising spread as they mingled and networked.
But the highlight of the day? You bet it was our sensational hog roast, expertly crafted by our culinary maestro, Martin. The tender pulled pork, paired with crispy crackling, sage and onion stuffing, and homemade applesauce, created a symphony of flavours that left everyone raving.
Sides of vibrant coleslaw, fresh salads, and buttery new potatoes added to the feast, ensuring there was something to satisfy every palate.
For the vegans in attendance, our BBQ-pulled jackfruit alternative delivered smokey goodness that rivalled its meaty counterpart. Dessert was equally irresistible—decadent cheesecakes and heavenly profiteroles disappeared in a flash, leaving everyone with a sweet taste of success.
The luncheon not only refuelled attendees but also rejuvenated spirits, setting the stage for productive afternoon sessions. Energised and inspired, guests returned to their workshops, armed with new ideas and fueled by our delicious offerings.
As the event wound down, Hog Roast Bolsover sprang into action once more, tidying up with efficiency and leaving the venue spotless. Proud of another successful event under our belts, we headed back to HQ, grateful for the opportunity to contribute to such a dynamic and enjoyable day.
