On the 14th of June, Abbie and Tashan celebrated their wedding with a beautiful reception at a local barn. The barn was the perfect venue for the occasion, with plenty of space for all 125 guests to enjoy an afternoon of partying, celebrating, and great food! Our catering manager Martin worked with the couple to create the perfect menu for the occasion, which is incredibly important since we want to ensure that there are dishes for every guest to enjoy. We customised our delicious Southern Slow Roast menu to include a variety of incredible dishes, making it the ideal choice for the bride, groom, and their guests!
Our menu was set to be served at 15:30 so the Hog Roast Chesterfield team arrived at the venue in the morning to give us plenty of time to slow-roast all of the dishes to perfection. For the mains, we served our incredible BBQ pork butt, a delicious Texan 24-hour beef brisket, and Cajun-spiced whole-roasted chickens. For plant-based guests we provided our BBQ-pulled jackfruit, which always goes down well at our events. The main dishes were served in a selection of bread rolls and wraps, with gluten-free and wholemeal options available. We also provided a selection of gourmet sides, including a Greek salad, our Chef’s own pasta salad, and roasted baby new potatoes. This ensured that our menu consisted of plenty of dishes for the guests to enjoy, with more than enough to go around!
