For events taking place throughout the winter, Hog Roast Clowne are often asked to provide a delicious and warming menu for the guests to enjoy. Recently, our team has been hired to cater at a corporate event intended to show off a new venue that is being opened in the new year. Since the event will be taking place both outdoors and indoors, we were asked to provide a menu that would warm the guests up after spending time in the cold November air! After looking through our menus, it was decided that our classic hog roast would be ideal for the occasion, alongside a tasty meat-free alternative.
On the day of the event, the Hog Roast Clowne team arrived at the venue and began preparing the menu. The venue was incredible, with a modern office block joined to a large conference room and dining area for the staff to make the most of in the new year. Our preparation began by slow-roasting the hog and ensuring that the meat was cooked to perfection. Once ready, it was expertly carved by our chef. For meat-free guests, we also provided BBQ pulled jackfruit. The mains were served in fresh bread rolls, alongside sage and onion stuffing, homemade applesauce, and crispy crackling. Overall, our catering went down a treat and was a great addition to the event. The guests enjoyed our catering as a respite from the icy weather outside, providing them with something both warm and delicious!
