Hog Roast Tintwistle – Classic Car Show

Whilst our catering van may not be winning a prize in any vintage vehicle competitions any time soon, our food certainly impressed at the classic car show Hog Roast Tintwistle were asked to cater for last weekend! Our impeccably designed hog roast machine held its own amid the impressive displays of automotive excellence from years gone by, with its perfect form and functionality, which allows for easy transport and remarkable results. Our catering gazebo (which we are always happy to provide upon request) also deserves a mention in the design category. Quick to construct by our well-practised team, it instantly transforms even the muddiest field into a welcoming and sociable dining area. What makes our catering camp even more enticing, is the scent of the aromatic hog roast, cooking slowly throughout the day under the watchful gaze of our talented chef.

Whilst antique engines were purring, and ornate hubcaps were being polished in the vicinity, Hog Roast Tintwistle’s catering team were giving equal care and attention to the preparation and presentation of our eye-catching buffet. We were getting almost as many admiring glances as the cars were as we deftly applied the finishing touches to the fresh seasonal vegetables and warm buttery new potatoes to accompany the melt-in the mouth pork. It was a welcome sight indeed for the classic car owners, who had been outside in the cold all day, diligently watching over their reconditioned masterpieces, whilst keeping one eye on the hog roast!

The fans who had come to marvel at the classic car collection were also just as keen to try our food as they were to check out the vintage models on display. The great thing about Hog Roast Tintwistle’s catering style, is that we are able to cook right in the middle of the action without stealing the limelight. People can remain focused on why they are there, whilst enjoying the food at the same time, without having to choose one or the other.  The car loving crowd were able to mingle with the proud owners, who were more than happy to answer every single detailed question as they munched on their hog roast buffet. We got a bit lost after the conversation turned to oil filters, but we’re glad everyone had such a good day!
