With the start of the year usually being a daunting time, Eve has been organising a lovely group meal for all the staff at the end of January to keep everyone motivated in the New Year. Eve contacted Hog Roast Duxford to discuss which buffet options would be ideal for enjoying at the office and our catering manager Martin was happy to talk through the options. It was decided that a classic hog roast would be ideal, with a few additional main dishes to ensure that everyone can enjoy a delicious meal.
On the day of the event, the Hog Roast Duxford team will arrive at the venue in the morning and began to prepare for the midday serving time. We will start by slow-roasting the hog and ensuring that it is cooked to perfection. Once ready, it will be expertly carved and served in fresh bread rolls, alongside sage and onion stuffing, homemade applesauce, and crispy crackling. Additionally, we will serve marinated chicken kebabs and BBQ-pulled jackfruit as alternate main dishes. For the sides, the guests can enjoy homemade chips, a selection of seasonal salad dishes, and gourmet coleslaw to create a delicious and varied buffet lunch. Our menu will hopefully be a great success and go down a treat with the staff members for working so hard the first month back.
