Oliver runs an office in Derbyshire and manages a team of staff that sell educational supplies to schools across the country. With the new school year beginning, this is one of the busiest periods for the company and requires a lot of extra hours to keep on top of the orders. Oliver knows that his team have been putting in extra work over the last couple of months to keep up with the growing demand for their products, so he planned to host an office party to reward them for their commitment. He had planned to give his guests an early finish on Friday afternoon, allowing them to enjoy a delicious lunch and then return home to their friends or family. On the day of the office party, our catering manager Martin arrived at the office with his team and got to work preparing the catering. The star of our buffet is the slow-roasting hog, so we ensured that it was cooked to perfection and packed full of natural juices and flavours. For meat-free guests, we also served BBQ pulled jackfruit. The mains were served in fresh bread rolls, alongside sage and onion stuffing, homemade applesauce, and crispy crackling, as well as a green leaf salad and homemade chips. The menu went down a treat and was a great opportunity for the guests to relax and unwind after a busy period at work.
