After the birth of her daughter, Rachael was eager to arrange a Christening service, and when it came to organising the food for the event, she couldn’t have come to a better place! With 75 of her closest friends and family members making up the guest list, she was in desperate need of something that would please everyone. Luckily for her, she was soon pointed in the direction of Hog Roast Sudbury who after talking the client through the wide range of bespoke catering packages we have on offer, helped her to decide on our delicious classic hog roast menu which brings together the countries favourite traditional flavours.
Taking the lead on Rachael’s special event was catering manager Martin, who quickly relieved the client of any worries she had surrounding the arrangements for the day; and feeling pleased that every aspect of the meal was being expertly handled by Hog Roast Sudbury, she wasted no time in updating the guests on the good news. With everyone buzzing with excitement in anticipation of our famous hog roast, the day of the Christening couldn’t come quick enough for Rachael’s guests!
Fortunately, they didn’t have long to wait as last weekend saw the Hog Roast Sudbury catering crew travel to the clients chosen venue of Hill Ridware Village Hall to prepare the unforgettable feast of slow roasted whole pig, homemade savoury stuffing, sweet applesauce, gluten-free rolls and of course: a meat-free alternative of grilled vegetable skewers with optionable haloumi for those following plant-based diets. Following the service, guests began arriving at the function hall where their attention was immediately captured by the mouth-watering scents coming from the buffet table and eager to get stuck in after weeks of dreaming about this very meal, they piled their plates high with juicy carvings of meat, pulled pork and crispy crackling.
Rachael was so impressed with how smoothly her event went and how tasty the food was that she has since been in touch to thank the Hog Roast Sudbury crew for making her daughter’s Christening so enjoyable and relaxing for both her and her guests.
