Hog Roast Nottingham were “bowled over†to be asked to cater for around 100 people at a private party at The Caythorpe Cricket Club and went “all out†to ensure that terrific catering was delivered. Catering for this type of event is something that Hog Roast Nottingham excels at alongside catering for weddings and corporate events and a selection of menus is available that will ensure that guests will always go away fulfilled and satisfied that the food that they have eaten has been high quality, delicious and with a professional service.
For this type of event, Hog Roast Nottingham has a selection of six menus; Slow Roasted Hog Served in a Roll, Southern Slow Roast Menu, Slow Roasted Hog served with Fresh Salads or Vegetables, Hog Roast Alfresco Dining, Formal Indoor and Outdoor Dining options and Formal Sit-Down Catering. We discussed with the client, which would be most suitable and they decided upon the Southern Slow Roast Menu, consisting of beef, pork and lamb meats and with vegetarian options that included veggie skewers, coleslaw, mac ‘n’ cheese, green leaf salad and baked potatoes.
We arrived well before the event was due to start and liaised with the organiser to discuss set-up time and access for loading which was pretty straight forward; we would be catering for around 100 guests and serving at 8.30pm. Once the guests started arriving we got the hog roast started so that everyone could smell the mouth-watering aromas to get the stomach juices flowing and this created immediate interest with many guests telling us that they have eaten our food before and couldn’t wait to get started.
Once the batting order had been confirmed, we started serving the delicious food with many guests commenting on how they were amazed at the choice and the high quality of the food. At Hog Roast Nottingham, we really do pride ourselves on the high-quality produce that we serve and we know that there are many good caterers out there, but we feel that this is one element of our service that makes us not just good, but great!
