This February, Hog Roast Wirksworth is catering at an elegant theatre in Derbyshire that is hosting a production of an exciting original musical. For the opening night of the show, the manager of the theatre wanted to make the evening feel as luxurious as possible, complete with a red carpet, great food, and signature drinks at the bar. For the catering, our manager Martin will be serving a classic hog roast, preceded by a round of canapes as the guests mingle and prepare for the show. Our menu is sure to be a great addition to the evening and will add another touch of luxury to the event!
The Hog Roast Wirksworth team will begin our catering by serving a selection of canapes as the guests arrive at the theatre. Canapes are a great way to introduce a variety of tastes and textures and we have a variety of dishes for guests to enjoy, including succulent duck breast, fresh salmon, mini pizzas, and an Indian selection. Following this, we will be serving our main dishes, including our classic slow-roasted hog. The pork will be cooked on-site to ensure maximum freshness and will be accompanied by sage and onion stuffing, homemade applesauce, and crispy crackling. Additionally, we will be offering halloumi and vegetable skewers, homemade chips, gourmet coleslaw, and a selection of fresh salad dishes.
