Last weekend brought the wedding of Jenny and Mark and we were lucky enough to enjoy the September sun! Based near Measham, the venue was a school which is also used for private events throughout the summer, it’s a listed building and is steeped in history. What better setting for a wedding! With 110 guests welcomed with Pimms served with fresh fruit and lemonade, the setting was just perfect for outdoor mingling upon arrival! The guests were treated to a delicious Afternoon Tea set up for their wedding breakfast, all served on vintage china and the room looked fantastic. Onto the main event, with an additional 50 guests arriving around 19:00, the hog roast in Measham was the centrepiece! With the hog being roasted for almost 9 hours, it was deliciously crispy and juicy. The hog roast Measham was accompanied by our salad platters of creamy coleslaw, potato salad, green leaf salad, pasta salad and a Greek salad, perfect sides for the pork baps. Our team served all of the guests with a number of people coming up for seconds. As the sun started to set, the party then started and our team packed away our equipment and headed home. A lovely summer event, perfect setting, great guests and of course delicious food!
