This weekend saw us catering a Hog Roast in Elford at the Hall Garden. Set in their walled gardens for a local primary school, the ‘Pig and a Jig’ event was organised to raise money for a local primary school extension. Guests arrived ready for a great evening of Hog Roast Elford food and entertainment. The pig was cooked to perfection, tender and flavorsome with crunchy crackling, stuffing and apple sauce. The food was very well received with excellent feedback from around the gardens and the organisers. A silent auction ran throughout the night, taking bids on various items from six bottles of wine to a holiday apartment hire. The prosecco was flowing and with a live band for entertainment, the party atmosphere was fantastic. A great fundraiser we were proud to be a part of.
