This April, Rachel has contacted Hog Roast Long Eaton to provide catering for an event she is hosting over the Easter break. Rachel has four children aged between 8 and 14 and is planning an outdoor movie night for them and their friends to enjoy. The event will include a movie screening on a projector in the garden, with all of the children able to get comfortable on bean bags, blankets, and deck chairs. Before the movie begins, our team will be serving a delicious menu for the guests and their parents to enjoy. For the catering, our manager Martin needed to plan a menu that would be ideal for guests of all ages to enjoy, with plenty of different options to choose from. Rachel decided that our Gourmet BBQ would be ideal since it is incredibly varied and tastes great in the sunshine!
In preparation for the movie night, Martin and the Hog Roast Long Eaton team will arrive at Rachel’s home on the day of the event and set up our catering station in the garden. We will begin by prepping the main dishes, including succulent pork sausages, veggie sausages, halloumi and vegetable skewers, juicy British beef burgers, marinated chicken kebabs, and BBQ spareribs. These dishes will be served in fresh bread rolls, with gluten-free rolls also on offer. For the sides, the guests can enjoy homemade chips, sweet potato fries, gourmet coleslaw, corn cobettes, a tomato and mozzarella salad, and a fresh pasta salad. This will create a varied and delicious meal, with plenty for everyone to enjoy.
