Last Friday we were asked to cater for our local college open day and we felt honoured to be asked! The college are taking in lots of new students in September and they have an open day each year to welcome new students and this year they wanted some food to feed the youngsters and thought it would be a nice touch, we couldn’t have agreed more! The barbeque plate was loaded into the van along with the hog roast East Leake machine and all the goodies when we arrived we were shown to the college grounds and asked to set up our machines there it was just getting on for lunch time and we knew there would be a rush!
We had burgers and sausage at the ready! As the doors flung open everyone made their way over to us and we quickly got the burgers and sausages on the machine and soon we were cooking the meat smelt so wonderful and we were inundated 
with questions for the curious youngsters in what we do some were catering students and very keen to learn more about the trade and our chef was more than happy to let them know he loves giving chats on the history of hog roasting and all are always keen to hear! When the food was all gone and believe you me it didn’t take long at all we started to pack up the staff at the college were so impressed and they loved the food and asked if they could make it a regular occurrence and we were so pleased to have been asked.
Hog Roast East Leake love making new regular contacts and have done quite a few as of lately and word of mouth plays a key role in all we do recommendation is so important and we love to make a good impression as first impressions do count especially in our business. As we left we again got chatting to the students and we were so impressed by them such really nice young men and women a credit to their parents and we knew just by chatting to them they would go far…
