A while back you may have seen on our social media that the Hog Roast Wirksworth team had been visited by a mysterious Elf on Shelf who had taken to wearing one of our Hog Roast Wirksworth chef hats and jackets. We have since learned that this agent of mischief and mayhem (and that is most certainly what he is now that we’ve had to live with him for a while) is called Mr Piggles – an apt name for one sticking around the Hog Roast Wirksworth offices.
Unfortunately our newest kitchen chef is anything but helpful. He can’t be relied upon to chop up the veg properly, add our spices in the right quantities, keep our signature hog roast well-tended to, or even bother to clean up any of the many dishes that he somehow uses just for a few simple mixtures. It’s almost like Mr Piggles is only here to nab a mince pie or two (or three) and cause general mayhem all over the Hog Roast Wirksworth offices.
Despite Mr Piggles best efforts however, the Hog Roast Wirksworth team have still been able to put together your festive events in the lead up to December, and will still be doing so throughout the rest of the Christmas period. We’re only just going to have to be ever so slightly more vigilant to make sure that Mr Piggles can’t put his own staple twist on any of your dishes for your festive events with us. We’ll do our best, but when it comes to events we may ask that you and your guests keep an eye out, too. It should be safe from any of Mr Piggles’ hands, but every now and then we have found the dastardly elf has been able to creep aboard our vans as we set off for your events, festive foods in tow, so he may show up at your staff night out or your Christmas parties with us. If you spot him, just make sure he’s not achieving anything naughty and inform your nearest Hog Roast Wirksworth chef. We’ll make sure he’s put back on the shelf where he should belong!
