On Saturday we were honoured to be catering at such a beautiful Wedding reception at the Castle Hotel in Hatton for Mr & Mrs Dyke. Our Hogroast was set up in the courtyard area of the beer garden where guests were enjoying the warm summers evening. We started setting up the Hogroast and little did we know there was an Elvis impersonator singing for the newlyweds first dance. This made everyone’s spirits very high and allowed everyone to enjoy the evening even more so then they was. Whilst the first dance was taking place our Spitting Pig was roasting perfectly along with the fresh crunchy salads, potatoes and coleslaw. The bride and groom came to view the hog before we started to carve, they also asked if they were able to be the first to carve through the crackling- which they did and was a fabulous moment for all. There was positive feedback from all the guests and where pleased to see the hog being shredded in front of them! We had many compliments on how the food tasted and someone even said it was the best hog roast they had ever seen or tasted! An all-round fabulous day for all was had, the Bride and Groom where thrilled they were able to carve the hog too!
