Birthday Hog Roast, Ashbourne.

This Saturday was a fabulous day to celebrate Gareth Jones’ birthday at his house in the lovely secluded village of Ashbourne set in the Peak District. The sun was starting to peek through the clouds as the guests arrived at 6:30pm, at this point we had the hog roasting nicely, allowing it to become slightly crispy- just the way we like it. We had the pleasure of serving 65 guests who were all in oare of the hog roast Ashbourne in front of them looking deliciously mouth watering. Gareth came over to see the hog before we served it, so he was able to see it in all its glory and looking its prime, Gareth had the first strip of pork and said it was the best hog he has ever tasted and the crackling was cooked to perfection.

The Hog was served with Sage and onion stuffing, sweet apple sauce and white flour soft bread rolls. This was all accompanied by the tomato and mozzarella salad, the crisp spring green leaf salad and of course our homemade coleslaw that always goes down a treat! We had many compliments within the day, grateful at how professional and smart the team looked and nothing was to much hassle for them. Overall a great day to be had by all, Gareth especially had a fabulous day enjoying the celebrations with all his friends and family around him.
