Hog Roast Chesterfield – Southern Slow Roast Chosen For A Wedding

When Alana and Ross contacted Hog Roast Chesterfield about their wedding reception meal a while back, they told us they wanted something a bit different. They had both seriously enjoyed our succulent hog roasts in the past, but for their wedding day they decided to look over our menus to make sure that all of their 50 guests would be covered. We’re passionate about catering personal tastes as well as special diets so we always have plenty on offer for anyone who wants additional or alternative food served on their special occasion and this couple found just what they were looking for with our Southern Slow Roast Menu.

Hog Roast Chesterfield

With your choice of three meats marinated in our secret rubs and your choice of four sides to accompany them, as well as special sauces, our usual condiments and plenty of fresh bread rolls and wraps, this amazing Hog Roast Chesterfield menu has something for everyone, especially as it also includes a vegetarian option of veggie skewers. There are five meats and seven side dishes to choose from, and for their wedding feast, Alana and Ross asked us to cook barbecued pork butt, Texan beef brisket, Louisiana sticky pork ribs, skin-on whole baked potatoes and corn cobettes, as well as prepare two fresh salads. The vegetarian guests would be able to enjoy all of the sides as well as the skewers, which feature halloumi, mushrooms, tomatoes, peppers, red onion and courgette, all freshly grilled and served with our own tasty dip and pitta bread.

On the day of the wedding, our Hog Roast Chesterfield team arrived at the hotel venue hours before service, and set up our equipment inside the marquee. Before long, the marinated meats were slowly cooking at a low temperature and would be for a long time so that they were soft and tender and melted in the guests’ mouths.

Nearer to the time of service, we cooked the jackets, corn cobettes and skewers, freshly prepared the coleslaw and Greek salad and got all the fixings ready too. By 4.30pm, Alana and Ross were married and we were serving them and their guests a great selection of dishes.
