After several recommendations from friends and family, I finally made the leap and contacted Hog Roast Hundall about their professional machines and services. I found their website easily and sent them an enquiry regarding my husband’s 40th birthday party. Gareth, my other half, had been working hard throughout our entire marriage, including providing buffets at our children’s parties, therefore I wanted to surprise him with a stress-free event where we didn’t need to worry about food. After a day, I had a reply from the team at Hog Roast Hundall explaining that they could come up with a custom menu or I could choose one of their own, they also wrote that they were happy to cater at my chosen event.
The menu I chose was made up of a main and a dessert as Gareth had a sweet tooth. A delicious choice of lamb or spitted hog was on offer along with bread rolls, salads and a selection of sauces to accompany the meat. The dessert I chose was rich, chocolate torte to satisfy everyone’s taste buds.
As the day arrived, a team of two men turned up with their large hog roasting master machine, their ingredients and of course, a giant smile on their faces. I chose a hotel reception hall for my Gareth’s party and the team set up in there. Only a few hours into their work and the room smelt of delicious, juicy meat. My guests were delighted when they entered the party room to see a full table of food waiting to be devoured. My husband was the first to pile his plate with the scrumptious meat, perfectly carved by the roasting chef. There was so much to go around, we all went up for second helpings and my husband even enjoyed a third sandwich filled with hog.
Finally, we all sat and the team of two from Hog Roast Hundall served us our chocolate torte. It finished off the meal perfectly. Gareth beamed throughout the whole day and thanked the team and I for our efforts.
