Hog Roast Cresswell would like to congratulate the new Mr and Mrs Jenkins! Beth and Tom celebrated their love with a beautiful autumn-themed wedding. Autumn is such a wonderful time of the year with the vibrant colours of red, orange and yellows blossoming as the season changes. Beth is definitely the creative type; her centre pieces were giant pumpkins sat on a mirror and filled to the brim with delicate flowers. Dotted around the pumpkin-vase were simple but classic tea lights. The room just looked incredibly magical as the autumn sun glared through the big, long windows.
Beth and Tom’s wedding was at a venue new to Hog Roast Cresswell, the team had communicated with the venue owners to ensure that nothing had been missed with the conversations via the bride and groom. Everyone was happy with location of set up and responsibilities of the day.
Hog Roast Cresswell catered the full shenanigans for the wedding, starting with welcome drinks and canapés, yummy Hog Roast main and finishing with delightful and delicious desserts. Hog Roast Cresswell are always complimented on their variety of canapé choice. Beth and Tom chose four canapés. The first was the crowd pleaser Beer battered mini-Fish and Chips. This entails homemade beer-infused batter blanketing a piece of fresh cod and fried to make the batter nice and crisp, and served with a chunky chip and creamy tartare sauce. The second was mouth-watering Roasted Duck which is a soft tortilla wrap filled with a medley of vegetables and ginger infused duck served with a Hoi Sin dipping sauce. The third a finger-liking favourite; gourmet sausage. Bitesize pork sausages are marinated in a sweet and sticky honey and mustard sauce. These are served with sticks to make sure that guests have no sticky fingers! The fourth and final choice was simple yet delicious bitesize pizzas. The bride and groom had decided to play it safe with the pizza’s and went with classic margarita.
The food went down treat with guests, especially the canapés, the guests couldn’t get enough!
