We asked Martin some questions so you can get to know him!
What has been your favourite event so far?
“I’ve actually enjoyed every single one of my events so far but, the events with a live music and band are always cracking! It really changes the atmosphere and makes it more enjoyable for everyone”
Have you catered at any memorable venues?
“So many venues have been a joy to cater at but, I think setting up next to the 18th green at Upton by Chester Golf Club was certainly an awesome experience!”
If you were Hog Roast Great Shelford customer, which menu would you choose?
“If I had to pick one, I would choose our menu 3 because who doesn’t love a hog roast?! And our salads and sides are amazing! I would personally choose the creamy and crunchy homemade coleslaw, sweet cherry tomato and hand-torn buffalo mozzarella salad and a simple yet fresh mixed salad with herb-buttered new potatoes. Sounds scrumptious!”
Have you had any memorable experiences working at Hog Roast Great Shelford?
“I am a massive football fan, so serving and meeting former Celtic stars Chris Sutton and John Hartson whilst catering at Celtic supporters club was pretty exciting and memorable!”
Martin is a sweet over savoury type of guy therefore, we asked him which desserts he would recommend having from Hog Roast Great Shelford’s impressive list….
“It’s a tough choice because all the desserts are super delicious, but the lemon tart especially tantalises the tastebuds and the cheesecakes are fluffy and light! The profiterole towers are always a treat as well, with a biscuit base and drizzled with both milk and white chocolate, it’s a dessert dream!”
