Nottingham Rugby Club Hog Roast!

Linsco was established as a privately owned construction recruitment business in Nottingham around forty years ago. We were delighted when they asked us to provide a hog roast for 250 guests at Nottingham Rugby Club recently, and even the chilly winter air didn’t prevent anyone from enjoying our scrumptious food outdoors in the grounds. When we cater with a hog roast or two for our customers, the meat is prepared and cooked from scratch at your venue, so you can watch it cooking away (and try to resist having to wait until it has slow-roasted for several hours until perfectly cooked all the way through!) The smells alone of a hog roasting in front of you are enough to make your mouth water and involuntarily lick your lips in anticipation, and we noticed plenty of the many guests doing just that at this corporate event.

Derbyshire - Notts Rugby ClubIn 2017, it was announced that Linsco would be sponsoring Nottingham Moderns RFC’s U12 squad, so where better a venue to enjoy a fabulous hog roast centrepiece than at a rugby club. Like many of our customers, this hog roast was served as pigs in buns to the guests, so that’s hot, fresh, tender pieces of meat and salty, crispy bits of crackling crammed into fresh, floury bread rolls and topped with our homemade apple sauce and sage and onion stuffing. We also provide condiments, of course, as sometimes that’s seen as the icing on the cake (so to speak!) of a hog roast roll, and we’re always on hand with plenty of napkins, too.

For this event, we were also asked to provide vegetable kebabs for those guests who may not want to eat the hog roast. This could be due to a dietary requirement or just your own preferences, and we always have lots of different options for guests to choose from; you can even eat our pigs in buns with gluten-free bread rolls if needed.

Our team had an excellent time helping Linsco and their guests to have a great night. It was a busy evening but there was such a great atmosphere and it was clear from the empty plates that our food was a big success.
