A Taste Sensation – Hog Roast Duxford

With Hog Roast Duxford at the helm of your catering wants and needs, your next party or event will surely be a resounding success in terms of fresh, homemade food served by experts who pride themselves on a great job each and every time. We’ve spent a long time perfecting our menus and not only the hog roasts that we’re proud of and make into either pigs in buns or as part of a plated meal together with seasonal vegetables and potatoes, to enjoy alongside our homemade trimmings of apple sauce, sage and onion stuffing and onion gravy.

Hog Roast DuxfordWe’re all about offering our customers choice and variety in order to satisfy various appetites, tastes and dietary requirements, so whatever kind of food you’re thinking of having provided, Hog Roast Duxford will make it happen. If you’re planning a menu of multiple courses, you can select one or many of our sides, starters or desserts, and we can even make several canapés to serve as your guests arrive. You may prefer a different meat, instead of a hog roast, and we can spit-roast whole chickens or turkeys or a hunk of lamb or beef, or make a barbecue of sausages, burgers and ribs, or one of our standalone menus may be the ticket instead, like our Southern Slow Roast or Loaded Fries. Plus diets like vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free are all covered – just let us know your needs when you book.

For a corporate function that Hog Roast Duxford catered in recent times, we were asked for a traditional hog roast centrepiece from which we would make lots of pigs in buns for most of the guests but we also needed to provide a vegetarian main and some side dishes. While we have various veggie options on offer, our customer chose our hugely popular and tasty halloumi and vegetable wraps, which we serve with Tzatziki, as well as sides that everyone could eat – mac and cheese, jacket potatoes and coleslaw.

On the day, our chef freshly prepared and cooked a hog roast for hours on end, and then once the whole feast was ready, the guests queued up for a taste sensation.
