Find The Perfect Menu For Your Wedding Right Here At Hog Roast Knutsford

Right in the middle of Conwy Valley, set amidst the glacial landforms, rugged mountain schemes and the peaceful lakes of Snowdonia National Park, you’ll find Hafod Farm; a 16th-century venue littered with history and rustic charm at every turn. And we are delighted to share that Hog Roast Knutsford had the pleasure of visiting this awe-worthy site for ourselves just a few weeks ago after Emyr and Lucy hired us to serve their wedding breakfast.

The happy couple had invited 90 special guests to join them in celebrating their nuptials at this incredible location. And to thank them for attending (and to keep them from getting ravenous throughout the day!), they had asked for Hog Roast Knutsford to prepare one of our more comprehensive menus.

The menu they selected was our extremely popular Wedding Menu 2, which includes five delicious handmade canapes followed by Italian antipasti platters, a choice of two meat options for the main course, a wedding cake service, and, finally, a tea and coffee buffet to end the night. This fantastic feast couldn’t have been more perfect for Emyr and Lucy’s big day, and with so much variety to choose from, the guests were in their element all afternoon!

Shortly after polishing off the bitesize savoury treats, Hog Roast Knutsford rolled out the antipasti platters. These meat, cheese, olives and artisan bread sharing boards were served to each table, so the guests were able to help themselves to everything available.

For the main, we presented the group with a choice of either roasted sirloin of English beef with Yorkshire puddings and a rich red wine gravy or a sumptuous hog roast. Both options proved extremely popular, and the guests were full of compliments in regards to the tenderness and flavour of the delicate meats they were presented with.

A slice of wedding cake dressed in fresh cream and ripe berries and a hot drink brought the delicious meal to a close, and as Hog Roast Knutsford cleared away the leftovers and rubbish, the newlyweds and their guests prepared to dance the night away.
